Hi,
Thanks for the detailed steps about installing Kitkat on AT&T skyrocket device.
I live in Canada, so my phone is a model SGH-i727R (issued by Rogers). Will this update work properly on that or is it not the same thing as the regular i727? I’m currently running Android 4.1.2, baseband version i727RUXUMA7, kernel version 3.0.31-885181, build number JZO54K.I727RUXUMA7. My phone is rooted, unlocked, and has TWRP installed. Kies stopped functioning a while ago (what a crap program!) and I’ve not been able to successfully run any backup utility – though I have been manually backing up files through a USB cable attached to my PC.
No it won’t work..
Actually, I use the Skyrocket ROMs on my I727R and it works fine so flash to your hearts content! 🙂
Sorry if this is a dumb question… I have an S2 Skyrocket SGH-i727, which supports Bluetooth 3.0, not 4.0. If I install CM11 (4.4 kitkat) or CM10.2 (4.3 jellybean), will my phone support BT 4.0 LE?
Thank you for tutorial.
my phone was beautiful and updated! For the the JB rom not stand the language PORTUGUESE (BRAZIL). Thank U!
You actually explained it effectively.
