Compatibility:
Flash this Android Q ROM only on OnePlus 7 Pro. Installing this custom firmware on any other device or variant might cause permanent damage. Hence confirm your phone model before moving further.
Pre-Requisites:
- To avoid any interruption during the flashing process, charge your device to at least 50%.
- It is strongly recommended to backup your contacts, messages, apps, call logs, notes etc. This is essential as this flashing process will wipe out your complete phone data and settings.
- Enable USB debugging mode from your mobile settings.
- Also, enable OEM unlocking and Advance reboot mode from Developer options.
- On your PC, install mobile USB drivers to detect your OnePlus 7 Pro when connected via USB cable.
- Make sure you’ve unlocked the bootloader of your device.
- It is mandatory to Root OnePlus 7 Pro before moving ahead.
- Also, install a custom recovery like CWM or TWRP.
- (Optional) Temporarily disable all the security-related tools as well as antivirus that is installed on your PC.

Steps to Install LineageOS 17 ROM on OnePlus 7 Pro:
Step 1: Download LineageOS 17 ROM.
Step 2: Download GApps.
Note: Do not extract these zip files.
Step 3: Copy both the downloaded zip on your phone.
Step 4: Restart OnePlus 7 Pro into TWRP recovery. For doing so, switch it off first.
Step 5: Then press and hold Volume down + Power button simultaneously until TWRP recovery appears. Leave both the keys now.
Note: If you are not able to boot into recovery, use the TWRP Manager app from Google Play Store.
As soon as you boot into TWRP, take Nandroid backup first. This is nothing but the backup of your entire mobile operating system.
Step 6: After taking backup, click on the Wipe option from the TWRP recovery main menu.
Step 7: On the next page, simply swipe right to begin the factory reset process.
Note: This step will wipe out all your phone data and settings. Hence ensure to backup everything before doing this step.
Step 8: Now go back and again click on the Wipe option.
Step 9: On the next page, click on the Advanced Wipe option.
Step 10: Simply select Dalvik / ART cache, System, Data, and cache partitions.
Note: Do not check the Internal Storage or any other partition.
Step 11: Swipe right to start the wiping process.

Step 12: To do so, click on the Install option from the TWRP main menu.
All the files and folders present on your device will appear.
Step 13: Search and select the Lineage OS 17 ROM which you’ve copied earlier. On the next page, swipe right to initiate Android Q ROM flashing process.
Be patient and wait until the installation completes. It will hardly take few minutes to finish.
Step 14: Similarly flash the Google Apps (GApps) zip package file.
Step 17: Finally, everything finishes here. Just select the Reboot > System option to restart your phone.
Note: The first boot will take more time to start than usual. But don’t worry, after a couple of boots it’ll be normal.
