Pre-Requisites
- Charge your phone at least 50%.
- Install the latest Samsung USB drivers on your PC.
- Backup contacts, apps, call logs, notes, etc. for safety.
Steps to install TWRP Recovery on Galaxy Note GT-N7000
Step 1: Enable USB debugging on your device.
Step 2: Download the Odin tool on PC.
Step 3: Now download TWRP recovery.
Step 4: Power off your phone and boot it into downloading mode.
Step 5: For that, press and hold the Home button + Power key + Volume down buttons simultaneously until the download mode appears.
Step 6: Keeping the device in download mode, connect it to PC using USB cable.
Step 7: On PC, launch the downloaded Odin Tool.
Note: As soon as you launch it, the ID: COM section will turn light blue. Also, an Added message will appear. This will confirm that your Galaxy Note is successfully connected to PC.

Step 8: Click on the Options tab and tick the Auto Reboot and F.Reset Time options.
Step 9: Click on the AP tab and select the TWRP recovery.tar.md5 file which you’ve downloaded earlier.

Step 10: So tap on the Start button to initiate the process.
Note: Wait until the process finishes. When it completes successfully, the ID: COM section will turn green with a message ‘Pass’ on it.
Note: If this TWRP recovery flashing process fails, then close the Odin window, again boot into download mode and repeat all the steps.

Steps to Root Galaxy Note GT-N7000
Step 1: Download the Magisk.zip file.
Step 2: Switch off your phone and boot it into TWRP recovery mode.
