• Install the latest Poco USB drivers on your PC.
• Also, install ADB and Fastboot drivers on your PC.

Steps to enable OEM unlock and USB debugging

• Open the MI Account in Settings.
• Sign in if you already have a MI account OR create a new Mi account.
• Enable Sync and Find device options from Mi Cloud and tap continue.
• Go back to the About Phone section.
• Scroll down and tap on the MIUI version 7 times.
• Tap on it until a message saying, ”You are now a developer” appears.
• This will enable the hidden developer option.
• Go to Settings > Additional Settings > Developer options.
• Scroll down and enable the OEM Unlocking option.

Steps to Unlock Bootloader of Poco M2 Pro

• Boot your Poco M2 Pro into Fastboot mode.
• To do so, power off the phone.
• Now, press and hold the Volume Down button + Power button simultaneously.
• Leave both the buttons as soon as you see the Fastboot logo.
• Keeping the phone as it is, connect it to your PC via a USB cable.
• Extract the downloaded Mi Unlock Tool on your PC.
• Run miflash_unlock.exe file.
• Sign-in into the Mi account.
• Enter the same Username and Password which you have used on your phone.
• If the MI Unlock Tool does not detect your phone, then again install Poco USB drivers and the ADB drivers.
• A popup window will appear on the screen. Click on the Unlock button.
• Again a warning unlock countdown window will show up.
