Requirements

• Make sure to charge your Realme 5 to at least 50% to avoid interruption.
• This process will delete your complete phone data. Hence ensure to make a backup of your contacts, apps, messages, accounts etc.
• To recognize your phone, install the latest Realme 5 USB drivers on PC.
• Temporarily disable antivirus and firewall on your computer.

Steps to Unlock Bootloader of Realme 5

Step 1: Go to phone Settings.

Step 2: Open About Phone.

Step 3: In the About phone section, click 7 times on the Version info to unlock developer mode. A countdown message saying, “You’re 4,3,2,1 steps away from being a Developer” will appear.

Click on the Version until a message saying, ”You are now a developer” appears as shown below.

Step 12: Now tap on Start the in-depth test option.

Step 16: On your PC, open C:\Program Files\Minimal ADB and Fastboot folder (where you’ve installed the ADB and fastboot). Then by holding the shift button of your keyboard, right-click on space. From the list, choose the Open command window here option. This will open the command prompt window as shown below.

Step 17: In the cmd window, type the following command and press the enter key:

fastboot devices

Some random numbers will appear in the cmd window. This will confirm that Realme 5 is successfully connected to your computer.

Note: If such a thing doesn’t happen then re-install Realme USB drivers. Also, install ADB drivers again. If the problem persists, change the USB cable or port.

Step 18: Let’s start the Realme 5 bootloader unlock process now. For doing the same, type the below command:

fastboot flashing unlock

Note: Especially for Windows 10, type the following command and hit enter:

./fastboot flashing unlock ”

Step 19: So using Volume keys go to Unlock the Bootloader option and select it using Power key.
